Default Ck Eng Light Problem Solved

On the way home today, I decided to stab the throttle and see if the car would stall with the check engine light on, as soon as I stabbed the throttle to the floor the car went in limp mode and I had to pull off the side of the interstate and shut it off and re-start three times. The slip light and trac control light which were on, shut off and the car ran again. So now we have a pattern that ever time I stab the throttle hard the car goes in limp mode, so the rest of the way home I eased down on the throttle and no problems occur. Get closer to home, stab the throttle hard again and the car goes in limp mode.

Conclusion: The throttle when stabbed all the way to the floor is making the potentchometer go off scale thus glitching the computer and setting the code. Will post more later when I postively confirm the solution. Seen this happen on air flow meters back in the 80's.
