Also bear in mind that BMW's website lists their unladen weight (curb weight???) as 3415lbs. IIRC, you seemed concerned or inquisitive as to why the 350 is so "heavy" at 3227lbs.
Michael.

As rai thanks for your opinions. Your "i hope your not a kid" was funny. I just turned 19, am still a kid???
As for LIL RAJA, when is said 52,000 for the m3 i was quoted, that was sticker. (the actual sticker was 55,000 but i got a deal because i just bought a new 745i, and bought an x5 last year)
The m3 is really nice. I saw a red one today, and i fell in love. Its just perfect. Has room for 5, is a really fast car, and it handles like a shopping cart.
As far as the engine problems, i am not TOO worried about that.

Well if you bought a 745 and an X5 than you're not a kid. (no matter how old you are).
I just meant that there aren't a lot of Domino pizza delivery kids that own M3's.

I suppose I'll go ahead and "spill the beans" that BMW actually provides "attitude adjustment" classes with the purchase of their vehicles (it all goes back to the "WW2" era and the "superior race" thing). I'm on my 5th BMW myself, so you can just imagine what I'm like at this point. Fortunately a couple of other BMW owners and myself are building our own roads and highways so we won't have to deal with non-BMW people.

First of all i already own a Z Second, i agree with those who say the leguna seca is an ugly color, and a dark blue would look much better...... Buuuuut that car looks good in any color, because its out right georgous, especially when fitter with the stock 19's.... Arguably nicer than a 911........

I think most M3 and M drivers are true car enthusiasts who are less likely to be rude and obnoxious as any other driver, and they aren't part of the rest of the BMW crowd. I seldom see them driving like morons (only twice, speeding up when the next light is red).
That color is about my least favorite color in the world, though. I'd get a deep blue, charcoal, or silver. But if you like the color, I'd tell ya to go for it!!! I'd get one if I already had a house.

thanks for all the advice. I am going to go try to get a test drive on the smg. I have driven one stick (and every other car i own/ed that was able to be fitted with stick, i got in stick) but my brother said i should give the smg a try. I will take pics and show them to you guys. I think i will end up going with the m3, with the leguna seca blue, i love it.
This would be the car:
BMW M3 Laguna Seca Blue with grey interior with the aluminum trim
Premium Package
Park Distance Control
Bi-Xenon Headlights
19' wheels
BMW On Board Navigation
Width-adjustable power front seat backrests
Cold Weather package
this was taken from the bmw site, i "built my own", its $55,900 on the site, i can get it for 52,000 which is really great for a brand new car thats very popular. As for the smg, i will have to wait and see.
Some of the options i really dont need but my brother talked me into getting them I think he is trying to make my car heavier so that his car will be faster
Here are some pics of his new car.

Commenting on the original question... I, personally, would never buy a bimmer. I don't think they look all that unique and there are lots of them on the road. For $52,000, I probably would be more inclined to look at the Lexus Hardtop or maybe a Boxster... of course, for $52K, I can personalized my Z a good bit, too!

Also, in case I didn't mention it, I also have a quad turbo McLaren F1 that goes 400mph which I keep in the 23-car heated, tiled garage which is located underground beneath my 30,000 square-foot mansion which also contains an indoor olympic-sized swimming pool and a bowling alley, and that is right next to my harem of supermodels and the whole place is maintained by my staff of cyborgs from the future.
But lemme get your opinion guys cuz I can't make up my mind - should I get a Hyundai Accent or a Kia Spectra?

why can't people just be a little nicer??
who cares if he doesn't have those cars? and why does it matter what cars he has?
We are on a 350Z forum, and the only thing that matters is whether he love the Z or not, and he does for god's sake!
you really need to control your jealousy dude!!

My 350Z is gonna cost me $53g's CDN after taxes. If I was in the states and making US coin, I would get the M3 for the same price.
Fully loaded M3 here goes for $80g's. 333hp + German Engineering, can't be beat... plus you'll have some back seats that you might need later in life.
