Default Nightmare pic for a Z

Just got the car on Saturday and of all places I endeded up was parked between a Huge SUV and an NYC cab. Believe it or not both of those guys were pretty causious when entering their vehicles. I saw the cab driver trying to squeeze his fat body into his cab while all the time staring at my doors. I was so thankful they weren't the careless types.

maybe try and park in a corner? I know how tough it can be to find ANY spot in nyc though. but don't be one of those guys who take up two spots as suggested above..
glad to hear its ok!

The sales guy placed it there. I was too busy driving to really care.

That's why I sometimes double park if possible. Parking lots here for the most part in this town are pretty spacious, so parking isn't a big issue here. Cops don't give a rat's @$$ about double parking here anyway.

when im at school, we have these remote parking lots, where you park way in the corners of the campus and ride the shuttle, no one ever does it and fights for real spaces. I get like most of a parking lot to myself, im a door ding **** though lol.

Taking up 2 or more spaces is an invitation to get keyed/vandalized.

I know whenever I see someone taking up two + spaces it just POes me.

i agreed, if u double park (especialy in NY where space is gold) that taxi driver wont be so nice the next time. By the way, just a suggestion, you should write the taxi guy a Thank You note, that will really make him feel good thus continuing to be careful around your car. Just a suggestion.

one other thing to look out for in parking lots is I never park directly across from a truck that has a trailer hitch on it. this may sound **** but i learned the hard way from having a trailer hitch shoved through my rear bumper to the tune of 587 dollars. Some drunk redneck at the golf course backing out of his spot, son of a bit@h just drove off too.

I agree especially when the parking is very limited. Double parking just causes the demons to come out of people/haters!

I saw someone the other day open their door into this nice looking escalade (not "too pimped", but nice.). I was soooo tempted to say to the lady... "Glad that's not my car you just hit!"

If you double park, I will key your car. Things happen, if you worry about your car so much then why do you even take it out of the garage? Besides it is usually not intentionally done. It does make me very upset when it happens to me, but at least it is still fast and fun to drive. Thats mostly what I care about.

No Sh*t. I'd come completely unglued if some assh*le purposefully keyed my car. Probably end up in jail.

Although his retaliatory action is absurd, mbonann has a point. Keep the Z at home if parking might be an issue.

Personally, if I know that taking the Z out somewhere might create a parking issue then I just take the truck or the wife’s car.
