Has your Late October Delivery been shifted to 2nd week November?
I really wished Nissan could have done a better job with their Pre-order. Yeah it's good and all that they even have this for their Z fans. But what's with the tracking Nissan?? Like to keep us in the dark? Damn drivebywire I thought your VIN would be lower than mine. When did you pre-order?

Placed my preorder in early June. Dealer sent them in on the 15th think. At that time I was told I could expect the car in early Oct.
Anyway I stopped by the dealer on the first week of October ( I had been keeping up to speed with the Z's on this excelent forum). They said the Z cars were running about 10 days ahead of schedule and mine was scheduled to show up around the first week of November. Then the West Coast Port shutout happened.
Just got a call last Friday from my dealer and they figured the car would be here sometime during the first week of Nov. So with the way orders have been coming in, as reported on this forum, I figure the car could be here anyday now.
I just hope it has a safe train ride to KC then a safe truck ride to Wichita.
Now if mother nature would get rid of the ice and heat the temps back up so I can go out and play.
Hang in there, the Z's are coming.
Redline any day now.

Yeah, the same happened to me. The salesman kept promising arrival in mid-October. When he finally got a "firm date", he told me November 6th.
Though I think this may have been the salesman just feeding me a line rather than Nissan changing dates. When I initially asked about the car (not the salesman), they told me "Expecting it mid to late October, possibly as late as early November".

Just checked out the dealer inventories in the Bay area. At least 10 new cars showed up today. The highest VIN I saw was XXXXX4850. That's within 1000 units of mine.
There is still a chance that all 7800 of the pre orders will be delivered by the end of November

Just found out last night that my projected delivery has been moved back from November 5th to November 13th.
I really have no faith in Nissan's projections of delivery date, though. Way I figure it, it will get here when it gets here. As long as I'm not waiting til Christmas, I'll live... very anxiously, but I'll live.

Yes! My Oct. 28 date is now November 13 in NH .Waiting for this car that I ordered May 5 makes me feel like Job. But , I have this gut feeling that this one is it . I sat in one at my dealer yesterday and I would wait alot longer if I had to ( former Alfa and present BMW owner ) . FrankieZZ in NH
Yeah. I was told 10/21 to end of October. Then the dealer spoke to Nissan on Wed., (10/22), and told me that they said it would be coming "off the ship" on 11/4. Makes no sense to me. I can't find any hual ships coming to the East coast that dock on 11/4. It would normally come from Elizabeth, NJ for delivery in this area. Should've been on the Hual Tricorn", Voyage 57 that hit NY port on 11/23 I believe. Next hual ship to East Coast that I could find hits NY on 11/29, (HUAL ASIA - Voyage 23). I'm considering only ships that have come from Yokohama, as a post on this forum indicated that the 350s come only from there. At least I have a VIN, so it's a real car!
I was expecting in Nov. but called my dealer and apparently it's been here since the 22nd but is waiting port installed options. So I didn't get a oct delivery shift to nov. date. I posted a little more info on my delivery deal at "Socal Mossy Nissan Update" thread...
So happy me.

I responded to this thread earlier and said that my delivery had been pushed back from Oct 22 to Nov. 5th.
Well, on Friday I checked the dealer inventory (as has been my custom since late Aug) and found my car listed. I called them immediately and learned that my car had just been delivered that morning (or maybe it was the night before - hard to say with car delears).
So, the actually delivery date was closer to their original estimate than the revised estimate. My dealer said they received 4 cars that day.
Needless to say, I am pretty darn happy to be driving my new Z today. I had a pretty busy weekend, but still managed to put 200 miles on it. Now I get to work "break in period" into my everyday conversation.

PS - If you are wondering, my dealer is just outside of Dallas (Duncanville).
