it's not the exact same. different paint code.
My dealer (and a regular poster here and the other sites) has already ordered his 2005 yellow Z, and he tells me it is in fact the same paint code.

Your dealer may be mistaken. The paint codes for yellow on the Sentra and Xterra/Frontier are E10 and EW3 respectively. The paint code for the Z yellow is K25. It's also different than the regular paint process.

Also new for 2005 is a new exterior color – Ultra-Yellow – which is offered at a $500 MSRP. It utilizes a new high-luminance and high-chroma pearl pigment and three layers of top coat (with separate color pigment and pearl pigment layers) to create an almost “liquid” surface appearance.

it would look better if the car was lowered, i feel as if it sits too high for any shade of yellow IMHO.

Where does it say that Ultra Yellow is K25? The color code for Liquid Aluminum was K25. Here is a list of colors from the 2004 model year from a Nissan bulletin.

Plus, I just went and talked to our guy that places orders for cars and showed me on his computer that the color code for Ultra Yellow is E33.

I donno. yellow is a very... sleek color. like it makes me think of F40's and diablow, and NSXs even. the really low profile edgy sports cars.

the Z doesnt have that stance IMO. its a happier looking car, yellow seems too bright for it.

*votes for green "brickyard" color in 2006*

Yeah, that's my bad. It is E33, but my point still is that it is not the same color as the Sentra and Xterra/Frontier.

They should have gone with the 91 Twin Turbo yellow, or at least the axis yellow. That yellow looks like a school bus, at least in the pictures.

Youre still right though. Its a different yellow than the trucks.

Like I said before, we really need a photograph to see what it REALLY looks like.

I was fortunate enough to sit in the very first 2005 350Z ultra yellow roadster today. The metalic yellow is like the Porsche, Corvette, Ferrari yellow. Great! This is my first post to this site.
