Radio Shack also has some called "Zip Zaps". They are very similar, and only $20.

What I want it an IR DigiQ. They have proportional steering.

Damn it... I was gonna post this before anyone else when my
Bit Char-G comes in couple of days I ordered my silver Z @ http://tisinc99.com/minrcg24nisf.html @ 29.95 plus sh.

For anyone who collects / builds scale models, Tamiya makes awesome kit for 350Z costing around 20 - 30 depending on the site. I've seen a couple of sites selling them below 19.00.

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/pla...ies/24254.html

For the diecast model collectors, J-Collection makes a model for 20 - 26 depending on where you go...

Yea, I bought my Bit Char-G's from www.jdmtoys.com they're really cool guys and I got my order super fast.

They have all types of information on how to upgrade and tune these little monsters.

The 350Z actually has a booster function, and when you hit the action button on the top right corner of the controller, it speeds up like a shot of NOS.

I bought the upgrade 3.8 motor and these little things fly!

I would assume that may be an add for the add-ons. There are lots of mods for these little cars, including higher RPM motors, different tires, different gears, etc.

Hoooo doggie....

At first I read that as *****-Ar-G

I guess my mind's in the kennel tonight.

Is there a 1/10th scale RC car body available? I guess I should check Tower Hobbies or something. Maybe it's time to break out the ol' RC10 again.

BTW, Tamiya has a 1/10 remote control 350Z kit. I saw one at the shop I bought my 1/24 kit from. I think it was around $110.

I own the 350z bit char-g and it is a blast. The boost-up refers to its boost capability. At normal throttle the car pulses the voltage to the motor, the effect being that the car runs at 1/2 to 2/3 throttle. When the boost button is pressed (black push botton in upper right corner of controller) the voltage is not pulsed but fed directly at full voltage, the effect being that the car rushes off at a greater speed. Now whereas the car is slower than a non-booster bit char-g when the boost is not activated, the cars are equal in speed when the boost is activated. Boost function is especially useful for track racing, where you can take a corner at 1/2 throttle instead of having to back off the throttle completely to avoid flipping.

I would reccomend these cars to anyone, boost or non boost, as they are great ways to pass time and are nearly infinitely moddable (motors, suspension, wheels, gear ratios, etc.). I am currently in the process of doing a dual cell mod to my Z to double the voltage and triple the run time of the car (woohoo.)
