If I want specs and performance numbers on new cars I think Motor Trend has the most detailed specs and best performance times.
I don't like their reviews sometimes though. They seem to be biased. I was shocked when they named the G35 car of the year.
If I want something on the tuner scene I go for Imort Tuner Mag. They got good articles and more importantly they always deliver with the models.

I think Sport Compact Car is the best "ricer" mag.
ElBombastico, what do you think is biased about C&D and MT? Do you think they are biased against American cars, or are you refering to something else?

Agreed - EVO is a great magazine. The Brits aren't afraid to voice their opinions, which makes for very entertaining reading.
It's very expensive to subscribe, though, since the magazine ship from Europe.

I have been a subscriber to Road & Track for over 7 years now. There is no other better automotive magazine out there. The quality of the photography and the knowledge of the editors is uncanny. You will not find a better automotive read on the magazine stand.
True Autoweek is the timliest but not the best.

Did anyone see the special section on the motor industry in The Economist last week? Lot's of interesting insights. No, really, it was interesting. Find out how much profit Nissan earns per car, and how much of the price of a GM car pays pension benefits.

Autoweek is my favorite because it's weekly and you get somewhat current race coverage and industry updates. (I have been a subscriber since before I could drive-30+ years-remember when it was like a tabloid newspaper?)
SportZ is of course the best Z only publication.
I also get Car & Driver, Road & Track (like them both, R&T more serious and great art; C&D for humor and oddball stuff, )
Honorable mentions: Grassroots Motorsports
