Unhappy Oops!

Don't let your wife/girlfriend or anybody for that matter take your keys. My wife "accidently",uh huh, locked my keys in the trunk of my roadster.
If you set the alarm with the fob, locked the doors, then open the trunk with the fob and drop said fob into trunk, guess what. You ain't gettin back in.
Even if you break into the car, via AAA tow, the alarm won't allow anything to work. I called Nissan emergency roadside assisatance and they told me to tow the car to their shop. HELLO.... the tow bolt is in the trunk! They couldn't, or wouldn't, help me at 11:30 pm on a Saturday night. I had to beg a ride home to get the spare fob.

Nissan...if your reading this, how about a low tech release cable??????
Not a nice night.

Ahh, the tow hook is NOT for towing!! Check your manual.....that is, when you can get back into your Zzzzz.

Does sound like another option is needed.

I believe the tow hook is for towing on a flat-bed, which is about the only way to tow a low slung car anyway.

Dooooh!
I found the darn thing. It's in the storage box behind the passenger seat!! (see owners manual pg. 3-13) Hey, I'm a guy...who needs instructions?
Problem is....it's not there! Had to take it into the dealer, it was not attached and fell back out of reach. You should check yours before you have "the accident"!
In that storage, did you know there's a neat little tray under the bottom? Leave your manual there.
