Angry tranny problem :(

ive got a a 2003 z with 20,000 miles and it just recelntly started grinding going into 3rd at high rpms. when i shift into 3rd REALLY slow it does not grind but everytime going into 3rd at high rpms the biatch grinds and i have the clutch all the way down ne sugestions

go to the dealer and tell them to put in a new trans. It is warrantied. I have had mine replaced twice!

You (and neither does anyone else) don't want to believe it....but it happens A LOT.

It took them a week to order and replace mine.

so it is going to need a new tranny damn.. has ne one else had this problem did they give u ne crap about replacing it.. thas crappy 20,000 miles and the tranny is already gone

I believe it's the syncros and ya the first few generations are pretty weak, can't handle the 287hp??!?

I hope my tranny goes at 50,000 so I can get a new one before my powertrain warranty goes away.... and I'll get the most current tranny.
