Sooo... outa of curiosity I called Jake at El Cajon Mossy Nissan and sure enough Z's are getting delivered today.

I found out that my car was supposed to be delivered on the 22nd but because of my Le Mans Sunset color and the lack of aero packages at the docks for my color, it has been delayed 7-10 days.

So that's the good news that it's here and that I got my VIN and a delivery date.

Bottom line.... for those in so cal and haven't heard anything... call!

since we are somewhat in the same situation, when did you preorder, what order number did you have, and when did you receive your vin number? i have reason to believe that my car is already here, but just waiting for the aero package. as you can tell, i'm trying to draw my own conclusions because i think that maybe it'll help me sleep better, hopefully... by the way, NICE COLOR!

 

I preorded June 23rd. Really late... Order # W179223 and Vin something ending in 3076. I left my VIN at work so I can't quote the entire string.

Jake from Mossy Nissan said the car is already at the docks but because of my color, the aero package is not as common. I've asked him to cancel my aero package if possible to save some cash and get the car early. I was planning to get Nismo's body kit anyways so it would suck to pay 400 some bucks to only take it off later. But we'll see.

Also Jake said that he received a list of VIN's but only had two cars delivered that day, so I would expect the other cars are also in the port, but awaiting port installed options.

NNA told me previously in an e-mail correspondance to expect my car Oct. to Nov. With an emphasis on Nov. I'm happy to hear that it's already in late Oct.

Oh yeah I saw your color choice! YEAH! I should've gotten the track package. Where did you order yours from?

Yeah I bet you and I will be getting in around the same time so either next week +/- a few days. Oh yeah, my dealer said 7-10 days delay so that puts it earliest Wed. - Friday window. Probably same for you too. Definitely post pics when I get it.
