Excellent vids. Would it be possible to have them encoded at a higher quality or would that take up too much room?

At 230K/s, they are already a pretty high data rate. The source is mostly at fault, not that it was BrianZ's fault. The bright sun and dark colors made for a difficult recording.

If you do try to re-encode it use the Divx5 codec, it's easy, free and good quality for lower rates.

The original tape is DV, so the source is good. I had to use Movie Maker to do the encoding which is what dropped it down to 320x240 @384Kbps. My understanding is that JmanZ then re-encoded as an AVI at the above-mentioned 230Kbps.

I will be working on much higher quality (720x480 @ 2+Mbps) this weekend.

This is really sick stuff!!!!! I didn't preorder a Z because I refused to buy I car I had yet to drive, and now.....yup you guessed it, I'm kicking myself in the A$$.
I've got a bavarian beauty coming in soon that I've had to wait months for, and I'm really close to cancelling that order to get my hands on THIS!!! Not sure I can handle the wait again though.

Thanks for the sweet vids and pics. For about a year and a half, I'll be living vicariously through you guys. ENJOY!!

Hubba Hubba
WoooHoooo!
Droooooooool!
Oh boy!!

and perhaps my most heartfelt feeling:

Where the hell is my car you bastards!!!

Thumbs up A BIG THANK YOU!

Many thanks to Brian and to Jay!

Just got home from work, when attbi sucks big time for me, and I was able to ENJOY all the clips, almost non stop, i.e., very few pauses!

YOU computer geeks done d#mn good.....Thanks!

Have no f#cking clue as to what you did, BUT, I can't wait for the (I can't believe it's possible) even better clips!

As an aside, you people at Fudruckers reminded me of my friends at a party in High School that insisted I let them hear my newly installed duel Cherry-Bombs on my '66 V8 Mustang....LOL

Different sound, different time! How long till a FlowMaster?

No, I'm not putting down the stock exhaust, It sounds GREAT!..But, Isn't more better????

Default Great video!

Thanks to all those who worked to give us video!

Answered some questions for me (battery location, window operation).

Is the front strut brace standard? (I hope so.)

knihc2008,
I really don't know why ou can't download but if you are on an analog modem make sure you are just downloading one at a time. You can also try download managers like flashget, gozilla, or getright to better you chances at a complete download.
