I think this one is pretty good. One that involves a Z would be generic for any model year of a Z.... but the simple 3 fingers is specific just to the Z33. It's also quick, which means it's easy to do, etc... I think that's the one you guys should go with... it'll only work if you all start doing it, though.

 

I think the three fingers thing is about the only "salute" besides a simple handwave that won't look silly. I'll try it once I get my Z. (Looking like tomorrow I think instead of today ) Maybe it'll catch on, maybe it'll turn out to be goofy, who cares...it doesn't really matter I would think. Just a nod or a slight smile would be enough recognition.

P.S. Anyone read Sein Language? "Acknowledge. Acknowledge." LOL

 

Apparently, Northern Virginia, i.e., Alexandria, hasn't received many Zs..I've have mine for a month and have seen only !. They passed me at a intersection (perpendiculary) too fast for me to make any connection. I just want to see just 1 other Z here!!

When I do, I'll make eye contact if possible, Flash high beams if appropriate, give 'em a thumbs up if necessary..whatever!

I just want to see another F***ing Z in Alexandria!!

Thanks. Since I originally posted the idea, I'm obviously all for it. You start it in VA and, if Danimsta can get his arm uncocked by next week, he can start it in Nashville (I don't have my car yet and this would look pretty stupid in a 2000 Honda Civic Si). Maybe the guys in CA can also start doin' this and it might converge on Vlad in MI by 2006 or there'bouts.

You'll be seeing enough soon. They just have to get them built and off the boats! Just give it a little bit of time.

 

I would do that if I had one! It'll be a little bit of time yet for me. I'm in my third year of college, so I have one more after this. My plan is to have a 2005 model year Z. Early in the model year if I get a good job, and late if I don't! BUt, when I do get it, I will definitely do the 3F salute! And, it should be well on its way by then.


Oh, and we can add the suggestion in our sigs to make it spread faster!

 

I just give a simple wave and the other drivers usually return the wave...

 

this is a very hard issue we have... how can we salute our fellow z drivers.... i like the idea of .... stick out your arm strait foward out the window right above the side mirror and stick up 3 fingers ... sort of like a stiff arm... and make eye contact and do the gangsta chin up and down salute ... hahahaha ... .a lil too much detail... o yea someone said not alot of z's in md and va... i am gettin my baby january .... can't wait till my baby gets here!!!!
