Undecided TT
Whats up guys. Im 19 just bought a redline touring 350. I was looking to drop in a TT but was debating between the GREDDY and the APS. Which one in your guys opinion is better? What other modifications would I have to do after the TT. Im looking for reliability and speed dont race to much do to my near suspension of license do to 4 speeding tickets. Feedback would be great.

As long as your tuning is good on your TT and push around 5 pounds of boost, I don't see reliability being a problem. The APS TT kit seems to be a better quality all around kit than the GReddy. You might want to check out the Forced Induction forum for more info.

19 with 4 speeding tickets and a near suspension, and you want a TT. I have been where you are now, and the temptation of a turbo car will get the best of you.
Wait for a few years till your speeding tickets drop off you record and your testosterone levels drop a bit.
Besides, a TT will obliterate you warrentee, and most 19 year olds don't have enough cash to replace a motor if it blows up.
If you have to have one, since you live in CA, remember that APS is going for a CARB exemption, Greddy is not, so when smog check time comes around, you can actually pass with the APS (assuming they get the exemption). With the Greddy, you have to remove it for smog cert, or know someone that will look the other way.
Also keep in mind that JWT is coming out with a CARB exempt TT in early 2005 for about the same price as the APS kit. Might be worth the wait.
