same situation...got me an 05 base on 11/17 and got my nismo lsd and mculloch hid's installed all for 1500 at the dealer (look below), plus the 05's have standard front chin spoiler. The cost to upgrade negated the price to buy a used for me~! Besides who else do you trust to break in a car but yourself~!

I was able to pick my 05 base up below invoice 24,500!!! Here's the story...My dealer and I went out for a test drive and he decided to show me how to drift....to make a long story short he crashed the new car into a sidewalk going sideways and took out the wheels and some body work(solid car) I was ok so he offered me the cheapest price he could and the best apr for an 05 which is 3.9%, because if he didn't sell a car his butt would have been suspended~! there's the story of how I got a Z. I was pretty sure I was going to get an s2000, but I'm happy~!

Hey,

Get the base if you like to mod.

$2000 on stereo
$2000 on rims/wheels
$500 on leather
$300 on HID

The car will add up to the touring package but with awesome hardware.

Are these the models in order from worst to best?
Just wondering?

I wouldn't call it worst to best... rather, least amount of options to best options, at least for Base to Touring. Track is in a class all on it's own.

Get enthusiast or above all the way.

It has lighted vanity mirrors and cruise control, as well as the forementioned.

Try finding an aftermarket replacement for those, and I promise it won't look as pretty.

I went 05'... but there are still some nice 04's out there being deeply discounted. I think dealer said they had a $1000 rebate and 2%. Color was the reason I went 05' I wanted a Z and did'nt want to wait. The king had a point though on how long you are gonna keep the car....The key is to enjoy the experience and get what you want.
