In an effort to limit the strain on donations, and hopefully move to a system that is donation free because we have sponsors paying for bandiwdth/hosting fees etc. (which i KNOW is possible)

I'll am starting to take on sponsors for the site so if any of you have a company that you'd like sponsored or featured here, let me know. I am only going to accept 10 or so sponsors per month for banners. This will mean each banner is getting shown on every page and with only 10 or so sponsors, everyone should get some good exposure. State are below up until June 13th if you're interested.

Prices will be as follows, keeping in mind I have never done this before so I haven't a clue what to charge people. haha Hopefully these prices aren't too much, or too little, but juuuust right.

1) $100 per month and this is done on a month to month basis.
2) $75 per month if 3 months are paid in advance (totaling $225 saving $75 over monthly rate)
3) $50 per month with one year paid in advance. (totaling $600 saving $600 over monthly rate)

Banners will be 468 X 80 in size and I can create one for your company or site if you need one. There will be a waiting list so if the list of 10 or so fills up (which I am hoping it does because then bandwidth isn't an issue), you'd be put on the waiting list.

When someone's contract runs out, they have the choice to renew, if they choose not to then the next name on the list gets offered the position. If they want it, they're in there with whatever package they choose.

On the top of every page in the site, there will be a revolving banner script places. This script will randomly call one of the advertiser's banners each and every time the page loads. This of course means great exposure. If a company wants to buy more than one banner slot, as long as there is room and we haven't presold the space, then you're welcome to. This of course means your banners would come up more frequently. It's all random, but I can set the script to weight certain banners so they appear more often than others and each sponsor would have a url to check their stats on. Password encoded of course. This will show you the percentages of times the banner is shown and how effective it is. This allows you to submit a new banner to take place of the old one of you think the new banner might get clicked more often. I can set it up for you, or you can set it up on the advertisers login page. It's incrediblty easy stuff.

Thus far, I haven't done any contacting really of companies or sites seeing if they want to advertise. I've spoken with three people and two are on board. The third I am unsure of because they run another Z site and I think they're still looking at their advertising budget.

Okay... the stats... what do you get for your money? How many people hit this site and how many page exposures we talking about per month? Well, with anything, the web changes daily but using May 1st-31st in order (3478 unique people on May 1 etc.) and up to June 12th...

So for example, on June 13th, the site had 5669 uniqe ip address or people come to the domain. There were 82318 pages loaded (possible 82318 banner exposures for a company) and that worked out to 489780 hits. Hits really mean nothing, they just sound great because the number is always inflated.

A hit is basically this.. say you have a html page with five graphics on it. When someone goes to that page, the server creates a "hit" for every time something is served. Your html page is one hit, the five graphics are five additional hits so you end up with 6 hits off of one person. Mileage may vary.
