Default If you talk to a Nissan engineer anytime soon, PLEASE ask...

why there's 20% parasitic drivetrain loss on a vehicle that is *supposed* to benefit from a lightweight drive shaft. NO ONE has replicated the SCC 244HP dyno munbers that I know of which equates to a much more acceptable 15% loss.

Did Nissan fudge the HP rating and are we owed a few (15) ponies? Remember the '99 Cobras?

i will be dyno'ing soon here in dallas.

$60 for 3 runs...

i am expecting only 15% loss cause my car is a Monday car... the rest of you frisco guys have friday cars...

Hahaha Mike,

That's not saying much if it's a Monday car. It should be a Wednesday car! By then, most workers are sober and more serious about work. Monday, they're still recovering from the weekends!

Don't forget that a lot of dynos read differently. If this is one of those mobile dynos, they rarely are accurate (often 10whp off)...
