Default rear center console compartment lid
ok, I click mine and it pops open, but only half way.

is this normal? then you just open it the rest of the way? anyone try replacing the spring with something a bit stronger?

you can ask around the rice shops, i am sure some civic owner left 2 coils off of his springs when he had them cut...

haha ouch. no shops around these parts, Im in the southeast, Ive never seen a performance shop unless by performance you mean 4X4 parts.

yes, your cover is operating properly. It even states this in the owner's manual...

Be glad that it even opens up everytime. Mine only opens 50% of the time without multiple tries.
