I have been on the fence over whether or not to pick up a 350Z for about the past 2 years. After going to the OC autoshow this afternoon, it was pretty clear which car I wanted to get. It was either $55K for an S4 or $30K for a Z.

I chose the Z. Picked up a '05 enthusiast Silverstone 6spd for the VPP price of $29,485.13 OTD.

Only options are the usual: floormats, cargomat, cargo convenience package, aluminum kick plate, splash guards.

Only thing l have noticed which is troublesome is the driver side b-pillar has a small air leak noise when driving above 85 mph. Is this normal? Nothing terrible, almost sounds like crosswind noise. I wonder if the window seal is working properly? Will post pics tomorrow after it is washed.

 

Welcome to the club! Get the noise fixed, it is not normal. I wrote a thread for guys that just purchased a Z. It is entitled "read this before modding your Z" check it out and ...congrats!

Welcome to the Z machine! I'm glad you mentioned that sound in your b-pillar, cause I have exactly the same problem. Time to make a trip to the dealership... anyway, congrats man!

Update that car was sold, some dude named Dugan picked it up and made it legendary.

Good choice though, the Z is still worth $5000 if its not wrapped around a tree, the S4 is also still worth about $5000
