Below is a "copy/paste" of several suggestions/demands for your dealer that someone posted before (sorry I don't remember the original author).
"When our vehicle arrives we request the following:
We want the original window sticker intact. You may remove it as long as it remains intact, or you may leave it on the vehicle and we will remove it.
Please do not buff or wax the vehicle's finish. A careful wash is sufficient
Please drive the vehicle only enough to insure it is functioning properly. We will not accept the vehicle with what we deem is excessive mileage.
Insure the interior of the vehicle is cleaned and vacuumed, but do not apply any cleaners or preservatives to the interior surfaces.
Please do not affix or apply dealer nametags to the vehicle. We do NOT want a front license bracket.
We assume the gasoline tank will be FULL prior to our taking delivery of the vehicle.
We appreciate your attention to these details."

Thanks for re-posting that Dr. Bonz
I've cut/pasted and saved away.
VQ,
I would also ask them what they ARE planning on doing. That is, ask them to provide their new car prep(aration) list. This will give you insight into what you may not have considered and the opportunity to strike it. Good luck and good idea. I think I'll do the same.

Actually... why would you want the gas tank full???
I mean, if it is only half full, the dealer will probably get one of their "assistant mechanics" or parts boy to go and fill up the tank...
NO THANKS! Ain't nobody gonna get the joy of driving my car to the gas pump and have people stare...
That's for me!

Yeah they'll put in cheap gas too.
By the way, one thing I'd like to say is you're going to need to give this list to your dealer maybe a few weeks before the car arrives, not now.
At least, if you give it to them now, give it to them again a few weeks before the car arrives. Otherwise, it'll just get lost or forgotten, whatever.
