I would think that to convert it over to optitrons it would be pretty expensive.

But, i'll settle for the green lights. I'm not really a big fan of orange interior lights. Reminds me of the GM orange.

In my earliest pics when NNA started showing the 350Z, it had green gauges. Later all the cars had orange. If the pre-production cars have orange I am sure we are getting orange. Perhaps those quicktime movies were made a LONG time ago and just now uploaded. Personally I like the orange much better than the green.

i agree, i like the orange better and is hoping nissan will put orange as the gauge colour or else it seems that it doesn't match the radio screen colour then.

They were orange. They have not shown anything with green gauges since nissandriven.com first put 350Z pictures up. It looks like the quicktime pictures were taken the same time those original pictures were done. Since everything since then has been orange I am 99% sure it will stay orange. Even their brochure in dealerships show orange gauges.

No orange or green for me, but i'd rather have green instead.
Anyhow, I prefer white!
I'm serious, if I get anymore desperate than this... I might even try to customize the gauges.
The only problem is the needles, I don't like to touch them because they are sooo fragile.

I can put the nail in the coffin on this one for you guys. The question came up while I was at Nissan recently...their own people were wondering what the scoop was and earlier posters had it correct. Very early on the first complete car had green gauges. That silver car was shot down in SoCal by the crew with the 360 degree photography. That was a LONG time ago...I had always wondered what had happened to it and why it never made it to the site.
I was shocked to see it is now up...I figured SOMEONE would notice that and pull it...then again, it's the only 360 degree stuff they have and I doubt they'll reshoot just to change the color.
