Default Where do they physically build the 350Z?

I am looking into buying a US spec Z and impoting into Canada. Apparently there is a 6% duty fee if the car was built outside of the US.

Just drive across the border and buy it....I don't know though if you have to pay duties still. In fact I probably shouldn't even be posting this since I have no idea. lol

It shifted from Tochigi almost a year ago. See http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/STOR...-MC109,00.html.

Default Um...I hate to tell ya

but Canadian and US models are the same in terms of performance...what isn't available in Canada are the Enthusiast or the Base Models.

other than that...same cars...

and yes.....the Man from Bellevue is quite correct....this fine autovoiture is built in Oppama

Track model was available in 03 and 04 in Canada, but no longer.

Our performance is a US 6-speed Touring. Our Touring is the US Auto Touring. Therefore we only have the US equivalent Touring available in Canada.

And if you bought yours before this past Spring, it was probably built in Oppama (last alpha digit T); since then, Tochigi (last alpha digit M).

get touring, and for that 6% you can probably get rims and brakes to upgrade yourself. ok, maybe a bit more, but your 1800$ to import it, thats good for atleast rims.

canada just isn't a large enough market to sell both the track pack and the 35th anniversary model.

the track pack will return next year.
