I remember that one. All that needs to be done to shut down that auction is the original seller emailing ebay.

Yeah, you really have to watch out. I used to deal on ebay a lot and did so for about 2 years while I was in college. There were a lot of scams then as well and I began sabotaging many of the auctions vigilante style with ebay names like "I am a scammer" or "I stole these scans" etc. and became known as the vigilante dachsund on a few sites. It was the good ol days.

yeah i have seen some guys doing that for some shoe auctions. specially with the retro jordans that are out. there are fakes all over ebay and i have seen people with made up names like "these shoes are fakes" bidding on them. seems kinda like a d!ck move but then again so is selling a fake item and passing it off as a real one. cant tell if this was the case with the cars because like another said it looks like the auction was pulled.

PPl usually ask you to send money to them via western union if they are the seller...if they are the buyer they say that they have a "client" in your country that owes them money. They say their "client" will send a check but it is for more than the price of what you are selling. They ask you to send the remainder of the money to them western union IMMEDIATLY after cashing it. The check is of course fradulent and the bank doesn't know that till you're out thousands of dollars. Never use western union to send money unless it is to someone you personally know.
