Angry 2003 350Z Oil Consuption

I've had a concern with my 2003 350Z consuming oil. It seems to be consuming oil at around 1.0 Lt per 2000 KM. Had it in to the dealer for consumption test and confimed results. This was done months ago and dealer/Nissan Canada is dragging their feet. If I don't call they never follow up and to this day have not done a thing about it.

Need to confirm a few things with anyone else out there.

1) I've been using Mobil 1 Performance Driving Formula, Full Synth Oil: 15W-50 (was using 10W-30 Mobil 1 Full Synth, first 10,000Km, same consumtion)

2) Driving style is moderitly agressive: averaging 3.5K RPM

Would one or both of these practices contribute to my exsessive oil consuption.

PS There is no smoke coming from tail pipes, and I've removed my Cats in the last 10,000 KMs

While not everyone experiencing the consumption problem is using/used mobil1, a majority of us did. There might be a reason why the owners manual says not to use synthetic. I'm burning 1qt/600 miles myself, but I have no warranty to fall back on.

You say not to use synth oil, but I just read the manual and it "recommends" mineral based oils. It does not say "Warning" or "Do not use" non mineral based or partial synth or full syth oils.

PS I see there's a thead or two in the repairs section, I'll refer to there from now on. Someone there asked the question do we engine brake a lot? I down shift a lot when slowing down, I usually rev a little to get the RPM's right. Can this posibly contribute to oil consumption?

I have a 03 Track built 10/02, starting using Mobile 1 at about 3K miles. No probs here.
