Default Concept..

Has anyone seen this concept yet...

I love the door handles. And the rear Ferrari type exhaust.

It was the Concept that got all the Z enthusiasts worked up for the 350Z's release. Also seen in GT3, but you had to 'unlock' the car to drive it.

i dont like the rear exhaust. i think the center stack like that makes it look like one of those gay mini coopers. definately like the exhaust split from left and right side. other than that looks about the same.

Yup, this is from early 2001. Check out the doorhandles, good for righties and lefties. What you are looking at was actually a heavily modded altima, only intended to display the appearance of the Z for a bunch of magazines. The interior made the current Z's look plush. I have the origional mag around somewhere, I'll see if I can give you guys the name and date.

That concept was powered by a truck motor.

Gotta love those 355mm front and rear Brembos.

LED taillights, wish they had made it to production.

It had this ridiculous grinning front end.

C'mon Nissan, the concept car had to have been a foot off the ground! Most concepts sit really low to enhance the stance (e.g. mustang concept)

I wouldn't be surprised if they had put that on a truck chasis.

That exhaust is ugly as hell...reminds me of the porsche boxter. Which I think is such a wanna-be porsche.
