bad move by nissan...
it's going to fall behind miserably in a straight-line compared to upcoming cars(camaro, mustang will probably be bumped up, challenger, evo/sti's, etc....)

Im wondering what the 40th Anniversary will bring to the Z. Im probably gonna keep my 04 till around that time, and just trade it in. Hoping that the 350HP rating will be correct.

I hope this isnt correct. But if the do put the new engine in the same body then they have to change the name. But when 2011 comes, they will have a new body and same engine with the same name

performance upgrade may be enough in 2009 to hold off on the wait until 2010 or 2011...they better use their time wisely to make some major changes/upgrades to keep up withthe competition theyll have until then, you never know the new "Nissan Z Coupe" may be a hit 
if i wasnt putting so much money into mine now id probably think about getting one of the 40th anniversaries, but hell who knows, i still might!
