Default Next Generation Z - A little more bang for the $$$

1. Auto ON/OFF headlights

2. Rain sensing wipers for front wipers

3. Rear view camera in the rear view mirror(ala Mazda CX9) and/or Nav screen to eliminate the huge blind spots when backing up and parking

4. Touch Screen Nav

5. Touch of sound proofing

6. Drop the current Bose for something better.

For those who don't care about weight, racing and price for these options

Might as well call the Z a luxury car with all those additions.

I think the G37 might suit your needs better. It's not easy to produce a single model with such diverse options to satisfy both the performance crowd and the luxury folks. e.g. Having different navigation/audio options is easy, but applying different levels of sound proofing is more complicated.

Sounds like a bunch of useless *****. I'd say rip all of that out and make the car lighter! MAYBE leave some of that as a dealer option.

They need to redesign the chassis to be lighter as well.

Either that or bring back the S!!!

The Z is a 2 seat sports car, not a luxury coupe. I'll give you the auto ON/OFF lights, but I would prefer a smaller chassis, less frills, and less weight.

+1 also more power, less weight, better traction, stiffer suspension/chasis

don't care about sound proofing, don't care about on/off headlights or sensor windshield wipers...

All I'm saying is that the ***Touring Edition*** should include more tech/creature comforts for 32,000+. A small minority of us will never race and/or mod the car. Soon, I will have sound proofing installed in the rear and doors. Hopefully, this will cure my only major problem with the Z.

The 2007 Z is Hot, and the G37 is not!

Actually, the VAST majority of Z owners will never mod or race their car. For every 1 person on here that tracks their car, there are hundreds that don't.

edit: grammar
