Please excuse KManZ's and my marital problems.

The reason I came to this site was to try and find a place where people would use reason to make educated posts and support their theories regarding the next Z. That's why my posts are all here, in this section (save 2 at this point).

If you do look at my posts, I think you will find that if I was being harsh, it was likely due to someone coming in and hitting the reset button on any good speculation that may have been occurring. Evidence to back this up? I started a poll about when people thought the next Z would arrive and actually encouraged people to cite sources for their beliefs. Further evidence can be found by going through my posts and seeing that not once did I ever just jump on someone and simply call them stupid or be totally belligerent.

Why am I defending myself to the very people that often times frustrate me? I guess because I either am far too excited about the next Z to let a few people get me down, or I think there are a few people here that may actually be worth defending my e-go (it's a pun, get it?) to, or more likely both. And to that end, KManZ I would encourage you to go back and take a look at any debate I took part in. Please point out where I was being an *** for being an ***'s sake. Here's an example of the exact kind of behavior I'm talking about (note the poster). If you do, I will openly apologize to the community for my behavior.

As for Prime, I think it is safe to say that the price point of the new Z has not been revealed. Not even close. Nissan's product lineup is a very closely gaurded secret. If they want to maintain an affordable sports car, which is the very purpose of the Z, yet move it up a little bit, that would make sense, but a jump to starting at $35K is pure speculation at this point, with very little to back it up. I will maintain that citing a purely speculative price "announcement" for the reason for purchasing a 350Z is ludicrous.

Your post in this thread is enough for anyone to tell that you have no tolerance for anyone else's SPECULATIONS. And I am not going to go "post hunting" to show just how much of a dick you are capable of being.

And I love how you used some of my posts to turn the tables. This post here was in response to someone with 1 post phishing OUR forum for email addresses, and this was a response to one of your smarmy comments. Besides, this isn't about me, this is about YOU and how you talk to people. Stop being a jerk, and we will stop calling you dick.

 

And again you could not have missed my point more completely. I have no problems with speculations. It's when people are trying to reignite the wild, uninformed ramblings that have already been responded to and put out trying to stifle any real, progressing dialogue from occuring that I am far less tolerant of and don't telling people that their accusations are baseless or unfounded in industry concepts or history.

I would hold just about any of my measly ninety four posts up as having more content than many comments that are very similar to the first link to your posts. As for the second, it was very intentional that I used that as an example of the kind of behavior I was indicating. Someone posted a one-line comment about a topic covered adnausium and offered nothing to back it up. I promptly asked them not to add to the wild, baseless speculations that fodder up these threads, and I sarcastically asked them to provide some base for their post, mostly because I was already sick of dealing with that kind of crap. Then you come trolling in and I tell you you still don't get it. This is exactly that event, played out over again.

 

Blah blah blah blah.. Thats about all i hear besides the very good info a few memebers displayed with the future of nissan etc.. I for one am very excited about the new Z and now that its gonna be a fantastic car. All the haters will be all over it once it comes out. All this stuff with people hating everything thats new gets pretty old quick.

 

Dood omfgbbq! The 370z is coming in 2010 with AWD and twin turbo from the GT-R! Oh, and it'll have cruise control and will fly too!
