I think it looks pretty sweet- i don't hate the headlights with that design as much as I thought I would.

I like it. To bad I won't be able to afford a base model since price will probably rise again...

Overall the body is great. Its some of the details that are a little off. Way too complicated font light. Wierd bumper. Also, the sharp kink in the beltline as it turns into the C-piller is awkward.

Overall, i LOve it though. SExy as hell. And I thought the stock 06-08 wheels were going to be hard to beat...those look so sick!!!

But at 35K? Didnt they learn their lesson with the 300zx? Who knows, maybe the market is different now although I couldn't see me buying a 35K base Z.

+1 on the front bumper
-1,000,000 on the head lights

There are alot of things on this prototype that nissan needs to fix, or has done so already. This more than likely is on old picture from nissan, and they have nothing to worry about it being leaked out. The final product will look better.

the same info and pic is over at autoblog.com. I really like what I am seeing. The roofline and c pillar remind me a lot of the GT-R. Even the hood (the buldges that flank either side) and the front bumper have good design elements from the GT-R. And that fat butt looks awesome....but hey, Im a butt guy....Id rather a chick with a tight butt then one with huge cans, so I guess Im predisposed. However I do agree about the base price. $35k is a bit steep, especially since it is supposed to be smaller then the current Z. I dont understand how it can cost so much to produce and manufacture such a small car with only two seats. Hell a base G37 starts at $39k and it's bigger and has leather and a crap load of other stuff. Nissan needs to keep the base price just below $30k and they will have another instant hit.

I find a lot of people making this mistake when speculating about the price of the 370Z. The 2008 G37 coupe starts at $34,900 on their website. There is absolutely no way a base Z, with no leather or whatever standard equipment is on the G37 will start around $35K. A 2008 Z touring comes in at $33,340 and only the Grand Touring and Nismo overlap. I think it's reasonable to assume that this trend will hold steady, with a decent bump from the $28,510 base Z to perhaps $30,000 in order to prevent cannibalization of their product lines. With that, a new Silvia can run the gambit from $20,000-$30,000.

Well, I'm glad the 370Z isn't much different than the 350Z. I was worried I'd want one if Nissan made it look too nice. Thankfully, they didn't. We still have to see the rear of the car, but based on the shortened hatch, I'm not optimistic about it.

Are you implying that there are hungry fish with normal headlights? If so, have you ever seen one? If so, please post pics.

All I have to say is I love how the rear quarters wrap into those fat fender flares. Very aggressive looking yet stiffy inducing at the same time.

i really like that. reminds me more of the older datsuns. Maybe it's time to stop modding and start saving money.
