i would just go ahead and get it. I'm pretty sure i'm going to try and get one. I was close of trading in my Z couple weeks back for a g37 but somethign about it doesn't feel sporty as the Z. I'm really liking the new looks of the Z. Since i can't afford the GTR, this will have to do.

Im definitely getting the 370z after seeing the picture last night, but Im gonna wait until the 2nd year of production for the bugs to be worked out and there should be some bolt-ons ready for it by then.

+1 I was thinking of doing the same, such a small increase in displacement wouldn't be worth an upgrade of a whole new car, not now anyway with an 08 Z.... I'd be loosing out on depreciation twice in two years.

I'm gonna hold onto my 350 for a while. Won't buy another sports car until after I get a house. By then, it will be a 390z! LOL!

I just got an 08 and I will wait for the time being. Perhaps once the 2nd or 3rd year production will come out and they surely work the bugs out, I will trade, unless I'll need something bigger by then. In the meantime, if the wheels are nice, I'll be getting the new wheels!!

Probably not. Obviously I'll reserve final judgment until the actual 370Z is in production but if the $35K price for a Base model is true I'll probably be looking at BMW and LS1's. Cuz there is NO WAY Im dropping coin like that on a base Z that in all likelyhood WONT have 340HP let alone 350.

I agree with you on that. I have a GTR on order but I would not spend $35k on a base model.

That's becuase you are thinking of the current Z. Many said 70 was too much for a GTR. But when they saw the performance, they changed their tune.
