New Camo 370z spotted
I doubt it's a center mounted backup light, becasue there if you look at the camo pic, tail lights have white color integrated, those would be the backup lights.
Also, I doubt it's a hitch, Z is not meant for towing stuff.
Tried some image tweaking, but it's still hard to tell what it is.

The trailer hitch comment was meant to be a joke. 
Who knows what that center piece is. It seems a little odd though. Not sure it's a center light on the Z because the tail lights show the backup light intergrated already (appears).

Dont forget it is a Test mule vehicle. They may use or need an emergency tow hitch when testing the cars etc..
In other words not everything you see on a mule was intended for production.
