I guess automotive elitism is more common than I thought.

Be careful what you post, being a Nissan employee and all. Don't want you to get in any kind of trouble.
Yeah dude. Both of my parents have 20+ years at that plant. My Mother now works at NNA in Franklin. She told me that they have dedicated people who scour blogs and forums for random things...especially leaked info She is a HR manager..so she's prob not BS'ing

But I'm all for a lower price tag.

Seems that we may have some conflicting info though. The guy that was at the focus group says the price starts under $30K. The guy in this post says 32-33?
Maybe that's depending on trim model but sounds like he is saying base.
Keep in mind, I believe that the person is estimating.

Ya but he pulled the numbers off the computer. That's still several K difference than what was reported from the focus group.

Anyone think they're going to go with Rays wheels and Brembo's again in the Touring model?

No the touring shouldn't have rays and brembos.

The sports package may add rays and brembos.

I hope performance black is a metallic black, and not the bland ugly black in other Nissans.

The price I said is an estimation based on the prices of other cars that are available to lease. The guy from the focus group could be right. I am just putting out the info from the calculations I have made. There could be some hidden lease charges that are in place now that throw my calculations off, but if you compare the prices with that of current models that are already on sale,$32k it should be close. I don't see why they would price this car so close to the G37 though.

She is correct about people guarding info, they are pretty good at what they do most of the time. I have made sure to not include any details that are really hush, hush that would get me in trouble. Also I am not a Nissan employee I work for a company that works inside Nissan. If I was making the money that Nissan techs make, I would definitely not risk it.

Guessing from the new post from MustGoFastR, "Official 370 Z trim levels, colors and options list" their ordering system is more than likely than same system we have for our lease vehicles. So every dealer in the country has the same info that I came across.

I did some more digging tonight. The aero package will just include a front lip and rear lip spoiler. The sport package will include the front lip, rear spoiler, upgraded brakes (assuming Brembo), 19" Rays wheels, Rev-Matching trans. and LSD.

Did it say front lip or chin deflector? I think a lip would be cool but the deflector would not since it's not visible.

I guess even the touring doesn't get the vsld? This kind of sucks for people who want the enthusiast with vsld but don't want the wheels and bbk. I wouldn't mind paying an extra $2k for the sport package. Thanks for the new info i wonder what else you will find out.

The way it was worded it seemed to be a lip.
