I wouldn't hold my breath on a nismo edition 370z, but if they ever did, I'd be first in line for one.

I would hope a Nismo 370z will come out.

And whatever happen to the possibility of a V8 according to a few rumors / sources? A question to you guys is did Nissan push out all 5 trims when the introduced the Z back in 2002 because I don't remember.

I could see Nissan definitely coming out with a NISMO version of the 370Z. Maybe not the first year of the car but eventually.
Not a V8 though.

That's the one I'd want. DCT, light-weight, hp bump. Sold.

I wonder what is included in the 370z sport package?

The g37 sport package comes with vlsd, big brake kit, 19 wheels, sport tuned suspension, different bumper and side skirts, and some interior changes. All for $1850.

I'm thinking the 370z is the enthusiast model instead of the base since that was one of the most popular model.

So the sport package will add bbk and 19 wheels and it won't include a different bumper since the aerodynamic kit is sold separately.

I'm hoping it does include a different bumper or a lip so it looks different from the normal 370z.

Monterey blue doesn't make for a good picture in my head... it comes up sort of as a babyblue or something lol.

I'll take circuit red on persimmon.

I see a Nismo 370Z coming out, but again, in the last year or two of production to increase sales.

Other than actual trim levels, I'd rather have Nissan offer a 370Z than allow you to add options as you please.

I wouldn't mind paying $1850 for bbk and 19" wheels. That sounds like a good deal!

If I'm not mistaken, Monterey Blue is their new variation of black (with a hint of blue). They discontinued Daytona Blue as you're probably aware. That and the fact that they destroyed the appearance of the Z with this new abomination killed my desire to upgrade. I'm going to keep my 350Z and probably go to another brand once it's time to get a new car. Sad...very sad.

Show Stoppers:

Star Trek insignia style headlights and tail lights.
Walrus tusks on the front intake.
Aggressively flared fenders with the same skinny tires.
Smaller interior (as if there was already too much space now).

They took something good and made a serious wrong turn with it.

I patiently wait for the first one to hit the local lot, so I can see if its worth trading....or if I should continue on the current plan of Lotus ownership

Based on my google search of persimmon I take that its a nasty orange color?

I don't know if it will be similar or not, but the "Monterey Blue" Lamborghini was sort of a "Daytona Blue" color.

I hope so. Daytona blue was the iconic 350Z color for quite some time in my mind.

I think this is the Lambo Monterey Blue. Not sure how close that will be to Nissan's Monterey Blue but it looks like it is a deeper blue than the Daytona Blue.

That's a beautiful color. Let's hope the Nissan version is close. Now if we can just get them to fix the physical deformaties they have planned for the 370, we'll be all set. Making the car wider (with even more flare to the fenders) without putting wide tires on the car is simply dumb. And they must understand those damn lights are horrible! Usually the Asian car companies follow a similar trend with the shape of headlights and tail lights. I think Nissan is trying to be different this time around but it's clearly a serious mistake. I can almost live with the fangs and waiting to see what they look like in person but have my doubts.

So you know what's included in the sports package then?
