Well this is GREAT news. I just came into about an extra 100k so this 370z will be in my driveway first thing when it comes out. OK since I live in NY it will be in my garage.

Second or third year model 370Z for me. I don't need to have it first.

Same for me. Besides, it's a way of me justifying not making a large purchase so soon since I just bought a house.

If you are waiting to see what the TTRS will look like (one has been spotted on the 'Ring, BTW with a grill that is different than the new TTS), you are shopping in another range altogether. Pricing on the TT V6 Quattro with a few options can sticker up to $50,000 (the one I drove had nav). I imagine that's where the TTS will start ($46-49K). The TTRS will likely start a little higher ($50-55K?). You aren't going to be in the same league at that point. I consindered the new TTS, but Audi only offers the thing with their dual clutch (Europe gets the traditional manual). Even the new base with quattro would be a great car to modify (easier to work around the fuel system than the TTS), but they don't offer THAT one with a traditional manual in the States either. Jerks. Audi/VW does plan on coming out with an R42 GTI with their 5 cylinder, awd, etc. Basically a TTRS in golf clothing. Likely the R42 will be priced right below $40K, which is closer for cross shopping against the EVO, STI and 370Z.

Right ITD. I saw the TTRS vid on You tube. Something about that car gets me. I do not mind the Dual Clutch as I am now considering the 7speed AT Z. I think I would like to test drive the TTS, see how that feels. If THAT car passes, I will consider Audi (TTS and TTRS) more so, but for now, I am still in the Z camp.

I don't know, something about bang for the buck type thinking...... = )

Hmmm, Just bought my 350 but I'll probably take this for a test drive when it comes out. and then if anything, wait a couple of years for the bugs to get worked out.

I really really hope the car drops on January!
Damn it... Even if it does drop I won't be able to drive it cause New Jersey is suppose to get raped by snow like always... W/e... I'll buy it and keep it in my dad's garage!

I may lean towards getting the first model year because Nissan historically adds weight to their cars every year.
