why do they say its a 2010, when everything else we've seen says 2009?
Think about it. The car is being unveiled torward the end of this year at the LA Auto show, it will likely go on sale in Japan in dec./jan. and then go on sale here sometime early 2009 as a 2010 model.
the exhaust sounds kind of weak.. maybe it's the microphone? hmm...
Microphone on the camera could be one reason. It was raining too and there were other cars in the background, plus for testing, they might not even put in that rich baritone exhaust that we all like to hear.
I'm really surprised at the number of people that don't like what we've seen. I mean, it's not like they radically altered the car- there's just a little less behind the rear wheels, a little less wheelbase, and the details have changed. The current design has been out for six model years without a lot of alterations... this is a logical, evolutionary step. I think I'm buying a new car in the spring.
I hate to bench race and speculate but I can't help it after reading that the G37 sedan 7AT ran 13.5@105mph, weighing in at 3700 lb. Just imagine what the 370z will be like if it actually comes out as 350hp & 3000 lb. I'll take one in white.
350 and 3k lbs? lower your expectations and hope for even 330hp and 3200 lbs.
