Clutch and Hatch Improvements
Allow me to walk right into this one:
Why is it that nobody who attended last weekend's unveiling in L.A. has mentioned that the 370Z's clutch pedal's travel has been shortened and that the trunk release no longer triggers a minor explosion?
Punch lines to follow.

I guess I missed it, when did we learn that the clutch travel had been shortened?

And, Have they gotten rid of the balky, crunchy 1-2 shift? I have had this in every m/t Nissan I have ever owned.
And the supercharger whine when you idle or rev with the clutch pedal out in neutral?
And the brake pad kick-back under hard cornering from crappy hubs?
And the steering wheel kick-back when you go over bumps?
I hope they fixed these things in the 370. Otherwise FAIL.

I was at the event, so I was able to compare it back-to-back (within one minute) with the clutch in the '07 I drove there.
It seems a lot of people don't like the current clutch setup; they believe the engagement point is too high and have adjusted the pedal downward.

I'm still healing from a bump caused by the latch of the hatch hitting me when it dropped. I'm sure we won't have to deal with this again.

o...rly?
I didn't necessarily think the travel needed to be shortened, but I do like the sound of it, come to think of it.
