Nissan 370Z Pricing Starts at $29,930
Wow that is even cheaper than I was told a few weeks ago. Think about this . . . If that $32,930 is the base Z with the sport package it is equivalent to the old "track" model. That is a great deal!
Touring adds leather and bose (ipod, music box, etc) and bluetooth. I bet its another 2500 at least. Then the 1500-2000 for the Nav.

and, first of all... you're not going to have any aftermarket parts available right away in january.

Well first off, for those who were pissing themselves suggesting that the Z34 was going to base around $34-35k, WRONG.
Secondly, I see Nissan jacking up the price of this car about a grand oh say about 3-6 months into its first model year. They already jacked the price of the Maxima up by about $900 putting the base price for a 3.5S just over $30k and we all know they increased the price of the GT-R a whopping $7k or so just a month or two after it's NA debut. Me thinks this sub $30k base price is just a publicity ploy so magazines tout it's "value" before a quick price hike after the reviews have already hit the stand. The Maxima was touted as a great value offering more car for less buck than the previous 6th gen and stickering for under $30k then Nissan quickly and quietly rasies its base price. They also did the same thing with the '09 Murano. They touted it as offering more equipment than the '07 for less dollar then upped the price a few months into the first model year.
I'm not saying that I think $31k is an unfair base price for this car as I think it's worth every penny and the Z does represent great value. I'm just annoyed with Nissan basically offering customers who are first through the door a $1k discount off MSRP. Of course non of this really matters as I'm able to get my Nissan/Infinitis for close to cost, but still, for those who want to wait a bit and test the waters, it kind of sucks to have the price get jacked up right before your eyes in such a short amount of time.
So a word to the wise. Those intent on picking up a first year model, do so as quickly as possible to avoid the close to $1k price hike that is almost certain to follow the Z34s introduction within a few months. Not saying I'm 100% on this, but it's happened on more than a few occasions already so I'd at least be prepared for it if I were currently in the market. Yes, you can wait until the 2010s are in showrooms for a deal on an '09, but then you have to deal with trying to find the car you want.

This car just the interior itself is worth a lot more than the 350z, the reason they didn't go overboard with the pricings is the economy. If this car came out a few years earlier, it would of been higher. I never seen Toyota, Nissan, GM and soon more to come with 0% on all, or most models.
Wow, I really want this car now.
I'd go with blue or red and opt it with the sports package and that music box.
From the other pics, the blue reminds me of the LSB of BMW. Like that color, it looks different depending on the light.
Anyone notice, that the base 18s come with Advan Sports and the 19s are shod with potenza. It seems like the base wheels get the better tires. Oh and anyone waiting for a Nismo version of the 370Z will have to wait at least 4 years. The add-on nismo body kit and wheels should be available, but no actual nismo version for awhile.

Yeah, I just want leather wthout all the heated seat crap. O well, thanks for the advice.
Be nice, he does have a point. If you want to get it, get it soon before Nissan jacks it up. I do have to say base under 30K is very good and the as shown model in the pic is 32K something, that looks like the sports package to me.
I wonder how much the technology package will cost. I don't really give a crap about the NAV stuff, I just want my 9.3GB music box is all.

Personally, I think the music box is silly, considering it's only 10 GB and a pain in the **** to manage. Most Nissan products have iPod adapters available. IMO, save yourself the $2K and get a $400 iPod adapter that provides a much more usable situation.
Actually, if Nissan would just come out with an easy desktop software package to help manage and synchronize music box data, I wouldn't hate it so much. It's just cumbersome.
Perhaps so, some G37 people don't even use it that much

Im glad I was a little worried it might be more than that (Imagine how much the Nismo would be if it did? Yikes
). But great price!
Z's still have the best bang for the buck.
Gotta be the base imo.

but we don't know if its 370Z+Sport package or 370Z Touring + Sport package for 32,930
wonder what touring adds? Bose? so far we've only seen the two interiors the one for the base with the cubby and climate control ***** and then the nav with the modified radio(bose?) and unit below(digital climate?)

As far as the pricing of the Nav package is concerned. I'd wager a guess that it'd come in at around or slightly under $2k. based on the pricing of the similar Tech Package available in the '09 Maxima. The only thing missing from the Z's Nav Package is the rear camera. Backing up should be fun with the car's excellent rearward visibility.
It looks like they are simplifying the packages big time, which should cut costs for them.
