teeth look functional.. i'd think it either pushes air toward brake ducts, or maybe to potential coolers behind it?
i can't tell since no one's posted picts up under the front bumper yet... (or i havent seen them)
will post picts up tonite if ican get close enough.. going to a 370 invite thing ....
i will also post picts of the underbody...

HoustnZ's insightful comments inspired me to create a new version of the 370z grill, specially designed for a man of his superior caliber!
Cheers to you HoustnZ! You're an inspiration to us all!

Thanks OP for the thread. You should make a poll.
I think with the teeth painted black so you don't notice them, it looks 100x better.
The headlights are still not "anchored" to anything. They look like they are floating there and kinda cartoon or animation-like.
The only body-part they seem to align with are, unfortunately, the teeth, which are just hideous.

I like the "teeth" because they continue the line from the hood, down through the headlights. They give the car a more aggressive appearance. Also, I think you could tone it down if you like with some sort of carbon fiber overlay or painting it black or dark gray. The "teeth" also accent the "pinched" nose look.
Am I the only one who really likes this design element?

Nope, I really like it as well. I like cars that have elements of character. Why does everything have to be smoothed down, or removed? Plus usually you need to go to aftermarket bodykits to get styling like this. I for one love that it comes stock.
I do like the photoshopped 'blackened' teeth too.

If the teeth really are functional, then FTW!
Function>form
I actually like it both ways. The teeth do differentiate it's personality. It'll just take some getting used to.

I hear you saying about the flow, but the 370z Coefficient of Drag is the same as the Cayman S at 0.29 (Tiptronic S is 0.30). GT-R is 0.27. I say that's pretty damn good.
