How about a completely glass canopy like a fighter jet. Believe it or not I was enlisted as part of a Nissan focus group and was asked a series of Q's about this possibility!

Targa! It should have been available on the 350z and should def be available for the 370Z. Its not all that difficult if done from the factory.
