Anyone recognize the image at 1:13? This ad must have been in the records for many many many months.

+1 Not all that different from the 350's pricing

Guess some people's idea of an affordable sports car varies considerably from others.

When the 350z came out they advertised it like crazy. from 2002-2004 there were lots of commercials. The 370z will hit the TV's heavy about 3 months after it hits showrooms depending on how well the initial cars move.

$40K for a fully loaded Z makes me very happy.

I see how nissan may promote the hell out of the new z for the first year or so so more people will know about it, but I can't ever recall ever seeing a single commercial for the 350z

wait 3mo and you can knock $3-$5k off especially in the south. I might buy one till they debug the GT-R and bet I will get a discount off that car too then. 2009 will still be buyers market.

I remember several. Being a 300zx fan and owner at the time probably peaked my attention to them. The peak of the promotion came from "The Run" DVD. A cool collector item for the Z enthuseist.

The link above even indicates that "The Run" was in theaters even. Nissan hit it hard with promoting the 350.

$33-34K for a touring? What's the difference between touring and base trims beside the leather in the touring trim?

Get the base + sport package. For navigation needs, get a Magellan. For your music, upgrade the deck with USB capabilities and get a 16GB USB drive for around $30.

Magellan = ~$200
Deck w/USB = ~$150
16GB USB drive = ~30

OR an all-in-one double din deck with navi for around $2K

Question: Does anyone know if the base sound system come with CompactFlash or USB capabilities? I've seen photos of both but I'm not sure if those were part of the navi package?
Answer: https://my350z.com/forum/2009-370z-5...ng-stereo.html

I don't think base stereos don't have USB capabilities but there is an AUX option.
