Anyway, why is it that young people are always trying to find out how old everyone is who owns whatever car any forum is dedicated to, or let everyone know how young they are? We all know its because they're trying to show off. And again, you don't have the same respect for something if you paid for it with your own money. I don't care what anyone says.

And don't pull any 'you're just jealous' **** because when I was younger, my parents could have bought me any car I wanted. I was against it.

As sad as that picture is, its definitely a reasonable picture for the cause.

I just joined numerous Z & G forums, and it seems the concentration of adolescent punks is very high compared to other places. The G37 forum is F'n ridiculous and I've stopped posting/viewing there. my350z is the most decent, but there are still the occasional 'dat shiz iz tite son, yo, holla!!!'. Go to school.

You would have loved the forum when the Z first came out. No kids here. It was paradise.

Ah well. I'll consider it a blessing that their uninvolved parents are frivolously giving them these types of cars. I just hope no one else gets hurt.

it depends how they were raised...

im now 20 and got my own at 19 1/2 years old.

used my dad as co-sign and he has never dropped a penny for anything that has to do with my car.

my parents raised me as if i want something i work for it...

i guess some just get S**T handed to them on a silver platter...

not all teens are the same i think everyone just makes them seem so bad. yes most crashes that are Z related seem to be younger drivers but dont put them all in the same category. i know quite a few responsible teens who drive sports cars, Z's in fact who dont have tickets and havent crashed their cars. not everyone is the same, i also know quite a few older gentlemen who cant keep their lead foot off the peddle and have wrecked a few cars. its not the age of our drivers its the quality. i will admit when you are a beginner driver you should have a sports car but some kids out there do have some skill behind the wheel just like some of the older folks have very little

just my $0.02

i enjoy these small quarrels, always a good laugh betwext the youngins and the oldens.
see when i was 25 my mommy bought me a chevy astro van and i used it to run into teenagers with sports cars while throwing bologna out my window and yelling "ARRRRRR YE LAND LUBBERS, YA BE WALKIN THA PLANK LATA"! or run them off the road into a telephone poll.
so you see its not the teenagers fault that theyre crashing, its the pirates...

My dad wouldn't cosign a Mach 1 a few years back. But he was thankful for the $1500 I gave him to buy a motorcycle a few months later. Anyway, I'm happier with the Z I got a year later with my own credit.

My 22-yr. old son was lamenting: "Why are all the hot cars driven by old guys?" I replied, "Cause we're the ones who can afford 'em." Duh.

Anyhow, while we're reminiscing, I bought my first sports car at 17, a 1969 MGB with real spoke wheels and knock-off hubs. Totalled it six months later... I didn't make an insurance claim (single car accident; no collision coverage anyway) so I didn't add to your rates... Ha!

Amen, which is why, now that I own a 370, I hang out most of the time at that other new site that I can't mention by name

Why not, as in, why not mention the "other site"? Last time I did that the moderator removed it and replaced the name with ************

John
PS: I am pretty much outta here guys. It has been fun and WAS a great site. I can't take the 370 bashing, as well as the punks yelling "fail" any longer. Was just on another thread where this guy was yelling about how he walked all over 370s at their meets time and time again. The previous posts comparison discussion was "stock versus stock", of course your "modded to the hilt" 350 beat a stock 370 idiot. Jeez. Been nice knowing you guys.
