Really? In 1996 the 300ZX/TT listed for between $40K to $44K. In 2003, the 350Z listed from between $23K to $36K. That looks like a new, less expensive generation.

Maybe Nissan will put two HR motors in a chassis, name it the 700Z, and that car will bend physics even more with that much power!

Sad how HR fanboys are now RSX status.

Oh man this is great news. Now lets cross our fingers that it becomes a reality. Imagine having 350-380 HP on tap and then being able to modify even more with just a few mods. I just hope that Nissan can build a bullet proof engine with forged internals.

It won't happen. Adding twin turbos will add $10-15k, which does two things. First, it cuts into their GT-R market, and two, it makes the car unaffordable for everyone else who wants a $30k sports car. Think of the Z32TT, which had a price tag of >$40k 15 years ago.

There would be a TT trim along with the standard NA trims.

Plenty of room for the Z 2 move up in performance before crouching on GTR territory.

i think they would come out with a turbo sentra first just to see what could happen and to attract the younger generation which would be at a more reasonable price for their budget than that of a turbo'd Z.

They're not going to turbo the Z. It would dilute sales of the GT-R.

The last two paragraphs of the article sum up exactly why they WON'T do it.
