Anyways, i didn't know that about the 370 nismo, that's pretty bad. I just think the amount of money you pay for a nismo Z compared to spending all that money on upgrading an hr isn't too impressive. Now I just think neither of them would have been worth buying.

It's kinda like the s2k vs. s2000 cr, you can make a normal one just as good for a fraction of the cost...

In fact, if I were fortunate enough to have a Nismo 350Z, the first thing I would do is replace that hideous rear bumper.
I don't understand why this is so hard to grasp.

A. Pay more for a quicker than standard track ready Z.

B. Pay more for a slower than standard, non-track ready Z.

I would buy this simply for the awesome "snow" mode; the stripes are just the icing on the cake.

Why all the negativity towards the Nismo 350z?

The rear bumper acts as diffuser which helps produce downforce, it wasn't designed for fuel economy.

Oh right that's why the Nismo 370 is not even a second faster than a track edition 350 let alone the nismo 350z. 50 HP bump means nothing, a quick ecu tune and the 350z nismo can be putting out more hp than the 370z nismo.
