I would remove the vette for the maintenance nightmares as well.............research them before you jump. Really for a DD that your wife will be driving mostly, the Z is your best bet. You will still enjoy it I know I do.

Buy a c5 Z06, sub 20k for your sports car AND buy a 328i sedan..
You should be able to buy both for less than 30k...
if not buy a 335ci because they are fast than everything except the vette. and nice to drive on the daily.
E46 m3, don't bother unless your buying 05+ and even still they are over priced.... Plus if you cover the front bumper from the side the look like 99-00 civics...
Cayman? Where are you gonna find one of those that cheap? besides do you know how to work on one? and if only one of those cars is in your budget, I doubt you want to pay maintenance.
You'll love a 335i but just opt for the 328i SEDAN and buy the z06 with it.
Who ever said the comment about vettes being unreliable, Go hang yourself, your an idiot.
370's are overpriced, keep your z33.

Uhh...330ci is slow.
And a C5 Z06 looks dated, and has an interior made out of Legos, and the plastic they use to also make Legos. It may be a quick car, but it's old and outdated and 2 generations behind.

a 335i 08+ is faster than a z33 and z34.... and he didn't say he want a fancy car he want a nice car to daily and a sports car.. On his list, it don't get sportier than a z06 or more comfortable than a 335i sedan.

In my area, there is only one S on sale and they are asking $66k for it. Not in my budget.
Found two cayman of 2008 models and they are in my budget.
She know how to drive a stick, but she is in no mood to own one. She wants an auto. No questions asked else i will have to face this

I saw 2008 corvette interiors and they are liveable. Not as good as 2010-2012 370z interior but still quite good enough to spend time in it and not feel bad.
As discussed before, i am looking at 2010-2011 335 coupe but they are not many in market as lease are not over yet.
Cayman, i did find a 2008 with 25k miles on odo. But yes, maintaining it is giving me nightmares already.
I don't need another sedan that too from same category as my G. Otherwise i could get a G37S or something. But its a no-no.
Certified Porsche are above my budget.

I have a question regarding pre-owned and new 370z.
There is a 2010 370z silver automatic with 21536 miles on odo. It is a base model and it is available for $25995+ tax and fees.
I got quote for new model of 370z with sports package which i actually want for $34700+ tax and fees. This also has rear view camera and carpet installed.
The question is, is the new one worth it or should i get the base model. I really like the 19" Rays alloys and a spoiler will be good too. But do you think its worth the $10k difference between the two.
Please advise. thanks

Well, Honestly, scoop a c6. the ls2>ls7 as far as reliability. and you can swap the z06 quarters onto it EASY. c6 z06 are sex.. I heard a lot of complaints at tx2k12 about the ls7 reliability when it comes to making power. LS2 is the way to go anyways.
Sorry, I missed that you already had a G sedan. In that case, I vote c6 and add z06 panels.

The 370z is a steal. They are giving them away.
You said you aren't gonna mod. Get EXACTLY what you want. If you thought you were gonna put some shiny new Volks on it down the road, that'd be one thing. But if you're keeping it stock, get it with what you want.

The alloys, spoiler or leather will never be added if that is what you mean so i guess i will go the whole hog.

2012 370z are hard to come by. Especially the base + sports package ones.
I am trying to find one since past two days and haven't been able to get one. Most have Touring available with Nav package which i don't want as it goes way over my budget.
I have found one around 40 miles away which i may get it on July 4th. Fingers Crossed.
