I guess Art ss right. Or atleast no one here seems serious about getting the car.

BTW It's not the first time I hear of the GTR, it's just that the performance is a little better than what Nissan was quoting.

And this shall be the downfall of the GTR in the states.

I called my mom and asked if I could move back in and live rent free, and my dad says he will pay my student loans and cell phone bill. And I decided having a life outside of work and video games sucks, so I won't be going out ever again. YUP, looks like I am getting a GT-R!!! I am so awesome.

I can afford 60k but 75-80k is too much for a car. Where I live a car that expensive will be more trouble than its worth. I already get jealous comments bc of the z.

You live in Austin, aren't there plenty of well-paying high tech companies there? I would assume the income level on average is pretty high, unless you're talking about a specific isolated bad area in the city.

I live in Georgetown north of Austin. Incomes avg about 40k a year up here and there is a strong amount of lower paid hispanics near my job site. My car has been vandalized 3 times in the past two years at my job site. Even in austin the avg income is 50k a year and falling. I get tech resumes all day long for cooking positions!

I probably pick one up in the 2nd year of production.

Year one production car always have problems.

I bought the first year 350Z and also a 2005 Saleen first year of production they had their quirks.

I'll get the GTR in year 2 after the hype/markups and after they fix the first year problems.
