While I don't agree, you have to give the R8 something, because it wouldn't be the performance or value crown.

Fair enough, to each his own
R8 brings along with it things that the GTR never will be able to, and except for the R8 TDi, it will likely get outperformed. Both have their pros and cons, but it would be a no brainer for me.
