thanks for sharing, looks very awesome, and good driving judging from your camera view.... but this is supposed to be "one of the finest race tracks" ??

the track itself looks like crap to me, just looks like a back country road, dont see many rumble strips, so it might be hard to figure out proper apex lines for rookie drivers, the turn layout seems to be as random as a back country road is what bugs me the most....
it just seems like a bunch of road and whoever designed it knew nothing about turn configurations..

but maybe I've been watching too much F1, Super GT (JGTC) and FIA GT races and I'm doing a very unfair track comparison

Sorry, Mr. NISMO 558, but ladies are THE sexiest thing on planet earth. GT-Rs run a FAR second place! (I'm sure YOU agree with me!)

Yes, his car was next to mine, in the first picture.

The camera doesnt do this track justice...vids never do. This is the finest race track on the east coast, IMHO. It's also off season, and very dry. Usually, there are beautiful trees, flowers in bloom, and green grass everywhere. I know it looks a little barren in the winter time.

Very cool pictures. Thanks for sharing!

Juno/Jeanne (in white GTR, probably only girl) from my350z.com said she was going to this too. Awesome turnout!

Been following the whole GTR scene on nagtroc as well...

The GT-R impresses me, becuase it's a daily driver, but a track tool without changing a darn thing. My laps times were a touch FASTER than my fully race prepped 350Z TT with comparable tires. Same thing happened at Road Atlanta..I am literally in shock, as to have fast the GT-R is in stock form on a circuit course.....all 4000lbs of it.

I bet that looked awesome. You know, the green GT-R, driven by Koni Challenge driver Tom Long, lapped VIR full course at 2:02 on STREET tires...LOL...PS2's.

Now that is a much harder question to answer. Since I am getting a bit older now, the GT-R seems to appeal to me a little bit more. But that said, a finely tuned and setup 350Z is a dream as well. I think driving a 350Z is more "exciting". You have to work for the speed, and it's always on edge. Your hands and feet are always busy when hustling it around a racetrack, or even some twisties on a nice mountain road. The GT-R is more business-like. It gets the job done without any drama, or unnecessary movements. Here is a video from Road Atlanta. When the camera view changes to the driver shot, it looks like I am taking a Sunday cruise or something.

got it. that is what i hear a lot. gt-r is like an f/a-22 ... it almost flies itself

i finally got me a dd that also can pull a trailer, so we need to seriously have a talk on making my z an n/a ( or even an f/i ) race car... cage and all.....

i hope to learn to drive good enough, that i could join team " forged" at time attack.... ( wishes a lot )
