Per statistics---and all things being considered---the Vette has a "Much Worse Than Average" reliability record. Nissans tend to fluctuate between "Average" and "Much Better Than Average"...Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Sorry Marcus, I think the GTR is an awsome car and think it has been a huge step forward from the R34s of the past. I do have a problem with an automatic supercar but will reserve judgment until I drive or ride in one. But I don't know if I'd pay the premium for the GTR or the Z06. But that's me talking out my a$$ when I don't have the means to afford them... things might look different if that were my budget.

So where are you getting the "Much worse than average" rating you claim? Or is it just another drive-by post where you make a bull$hit claim then fail to respond when called on the carpet?

9mm psshhtt. Why bring a pee shooter to a cannon fight?
Anyways, I'd rock both. Or, better put, when given the choice at any awd car in that financial arena, I'd chose the Nissan. Conversely, when provided the opportunity to purchase a rwd car in that financial arena, I'd chose the Chevy. Seriously, all of these decisions are purely financial and at minimum, solely subjective/personal all the while the subject of a stooopid debate.

I have yet to drive a GT-R, but I have driven a C-6 Z-06 on a track a few times and played with a few GT-R's in the mountains at ZdayZ.
I know the GT-R is heavy, and I doubt it is as nimble as a Z-06, but Nissan has found a way to make that heavy car dance with, (I am guessing here) about 90% of the agility found in cars weighing almost 1000lbs less.
Aside from its weight, the GT-R seems to do everything else better than a Z-06. When it comes to "digging out" of turns, it's not even close. In stock trim, the Z06 I drove had trouble putting down its power out of turns. (A little more so than some other high power RWD cars I have driven.)
I hope I get a chance to put a GT-R through its paces, but until then, I can only speculate from what I saw driving behind some GT-R's in the mountains.
