When you go over military it's a totally different ballgame than what you do here in the US.
Been there done that too.. Air bourne communications specialist in the Air Force on CSAR C-130's. I'm a UAV pilot and yea.. It's totally different ball game as a civilian.. No one is here to hold your hand. Keep in mind their aren't any humanitarian missions here.

ahhahaha, good burn

i was hoping you wouldn't take that the wrong way after i posted it. Some military guys get so uptight about their services. From outsiders i'll beat an ***, but from other service members it's all clean fun.

Poor GT-R

Here is the problem, when you GIVE someone something they don't care for it and dog the crap out of it. This is generally where the 20 and under crowd fall into.

Same can be said for 25, 30, 35, 40 years olds. Age doesn't have anything to do with it.

Maybe the AF holds hands, but once you hit a certain level or rank, nobody holds your hand anymore.

Are you suggesting that civilians somehow do a better job overseas? Please. They get paid way too much money for menial tasks and they don't even do those right half the time. I hope you don't think civilian contractors exist out of necessity. We use them because people higher up think that its a good idea to "free up" troops to do "combat operations", which is nonsense because we have too many guys sitting around doing nothing as of late.

I truly hope you don't think that contractors are on some elite level because I have met TONS of them who are mediocre at their job and somehow they never get fired. No "hand holding" perhaps, but nobody seems to care what they are doing either.

Wow, that doesnt look like very much damage for a 110 mph crash, especially if it was a rollover (which it looks like). A few months ago, i was in the passenger seat when my friend rolled his chevy cobalt at 95 mph. We rolled 7 times, and that car was seriously F'ed up. I would think that the GT-r would be even more so

I guess the gt-r is a pretty solidly built car

Ha guy I hate to be the bearer of bad news... If the military wouldn't need some of us "mediocre" civilians... Then why hire us to do the job? They can def pay military member to do the same job right? I'm "elite" b/c of the customer I support... People get injured(killed) if I don't do my job simply said.. Unfortunately most people in the military never make a difference. It's amazing how u can "know" guys like me b/c there's less than 200 of us WORLD WIDE. I've been on both sides of the fence homie, so unless u've done them both... U think u know.. But u have noooooooo idea.

I would try to say not all young people- like me- aren't total jackasses behind the wheel of a sports car, but with morons like that driving around and the jackasses I have seen driving like retards the negative stigma is almost deserved...
I'm just glad I am not stupid enough to do that or wrap my Z around a tree or something.

Why hire civilian contractors to do the job instead of the military doing it?
Because the previous administration was making BANK. Halliburton for example making 11 billion in 04, Blackwater making 15 billion for 1 contract in Iraq and 73 million for conducting operations for the gov. during Katrina just to name a few. So what may I ask do you do in the civilian contracting sector? Must be hot shiet if there is only 200 of you world wide. And for those of us that have noooooo idea... yeah I know people like you, and im sure a lot of the other vets on this forum can say that you were the guy that always has to out do everyone's stories "oh yeah well I did this", probably just a fobbit living the good life while being deployed...

I dont know why but your reply just got to me.. rant over.
