Default Need help problem with my windows please

When I close the passenger window with the auto up it closes and then comes back down like 1/3 the way. also when you open and close the door the window doesn't move up and down like the drivers door window does.

Is there anything I can do for this??

just take it to the dealer if you still have any warranty. maybe it's a bad window switch or the door ajar switch. have you rolled the window up/down from the pass. side and it still go back down 1/3 of the way? get it fixed ASAP so it doesn't mess up the window from hitting the weather stripping. if not under warranty you might have to swap switches with the driver's side, if compatible, to rule out the switch.

the window motor is out of sync. FRONT DOOR GLASS AND REGULATOR
SETTING AFTER INSTALLATION
Setting of Limit Switch
If any of the following work has been done, set the limit switch (integrated in the motor).
• Removal and installation of regulator.
• Removal and installation of motor from regulator.
Resetting
After installing each component to vehicle, follow the steps below.
1. Raise glass to the top position.
2. While pressing and holding reset switch, lower glass to the bottom position.
3. Release reset switch, and check reset switch returns to the original position, and then raise the glass to the top position.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the glass automatically to raise the glass to the top position.
Do not operate the door switch is turning on.

That was going to be my next guess.

Those instructions are what the dealer will do if you bring your car there. I just had this done on my Maxima a few weeks ago. Common problem in the Nissan family.

I have 27k on my car but it is past 3yrs...the driver side goes up and then back down a 3rd if i auto roll up, but it is fine if i just hold the switch. Passenger side is skitzo...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. If i hold the switch in the first position and open the passenger door sometimes it will roll up...sometimes i have to shut it "firmly"...do you guys think i am out of luck?

My passenger window did the exact same thing. I would roll it up and then it would come straight back down. I would have to slowly roll it up instead of the auto up feature. It did this until a week ago when I rolled it down and it didn't come back up. Luckily it wasn't raining I took it to Nissan the following day and left it with them and they replaced the window motor. So far everything works like it should, just hope the drivers side doesn't do the same in the future.

I went to my nissan dealer... they gave me BS that its an ADJUSTMENT.... and that its not covered under warranty.... ADJUSTMENT warranty is only for a year.

Time for me to find another dealer
