I don't understand why people with SS cars buy light silver wheels, looks like the car has a farmer's tan or something.

It's called "taste" ... farmer's tan ??? .... Check out the following site for clues regarding this 'tan' phenomenon..

Smile FairLady Zed

Fairlady Zed - thanks for fielding that one....
I saw it this morning and could not formulate a decent answer.

I like a Multi-Metalic appearance..

Cheers Amy -

Your wheels look great, that brushed finish goes nicely with the paint color. I was speaking of people who have wheels that are very, very light painted silver. It looks weird on the dark silver of the car, and the same wheel woulda looked infinitely better had they bought gunmetal, black, hyper black, etc. I used the term farmer's tan, because the contrasting of the light and dark skin looks just about as weird.
